Paul Serdet, Violin, 1903

A fine violin by Paul Serdet (1858 – 1934) made in Paris.  Paul studied under Charles Gaillard in Mirecourt and then joined the workshop of Justin Derazey.  Later, he moved to Lyon and assisted H. C. Silvestre.  He opened his own workshop in Paris in 1894.

This Serdet violin is warm and rich with a full sound, and its sound projects well.

I'm interested in this Paul Serdet, Violin, 1903.
