Elophe Poirson (1840-1918)

Elophe Poirson came to violin making later in life as an amateur, then more seriously.  His workshop produced near 300 instruments between 1876 and 1918, which are often numbered.  Elophe often focused on the varnishing of the instruments, leaving the building to his workshop.
