Alfred Acoulon, Viola
A beautiful 17 1/2” viola by Alfred Acoulon made in 1916. With deep shades of coffee, gold & bronze under a subtle craquelure, this beauty is as grand as it is sweet in sound. Acoulon worked in Paris and Mirecourt throughout his career and eventually directed the Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy firm for a time.
