Eli Biagi-Lee grew up in a world full of music, from his early days he spent time in the workshop of his father, William Harris Lee, and many of their colleagues‘ shops worldwide. He graduated from Green Meadow Waldorf School in 2011 and had already begun his foray into instrument making with a school project of building a cello. That venture catapulted him into our workshop where he studied with master makers like Gary Garavaglia, Jacek Zadlo, Bronek Cison, and Stanley Kiernoziak where he actively produced instruments and worked in the setup and repair department for 5 years. He has since transitioned into aiding in the identification, sale, and appraisal of fine and antique instruments in addition to a variety of additional administrative obligations within WHLee & Co.’s offices. His first instrument, a cello, is still being played on today. He enjoys attending concerts and events, riding his bike, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his family, friends, and dog Malört.
